What are the crayons in Blues Clues? ›

Crayons are wax sticks used for drawing the clues in the Notebook, usually kept in the spiral. The default crayon is usually black with a wrapper that matches the host's shirt. However, should the clue be a color clue, the host would use a color crayon to draw it.

Steve's crayon has a green-striped wrap around it (though if the crayon is a different color, the wrap is the same color with darker stripes), and Joe's crayon has a square pattern wrap that changes color based on whatever shirt he wears in an episode.

Lola (played by Carolyn Fe) is Josh's grandmother from the Philippines. She has the answer to Blue's Clues and in the Mailtime segment of "Sleepy Singalong with Blue". She has also appeared in some digital content released on the Blue's Clues & You!

Blue is a sky blue dog with darker blue spots and a dark blue nose. Her eyes are white with black pupils (very dark blue in the original). Her tongue is Pink if she opens her mouth or sticks it out.
