Senior Vice President SBH Fashion/SBH+
Growing Apparel company in midtown Manhattan looking for Women's Senior Account Executive. Will be responsible for managing existing accounts, acquiring new business, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the apparel sales. Looking for relationships with Walmart, Costco, TJ Maxx, Sierra Trading, Marshalls, Farm & Fleet, Tractor Supply..Unlimited PTO and strong benefits..
Role And Responsibilities
- Pre-Appointment Research: Conduct pre-appointment store visits to assess product placement, evaluate market competition, and identify white space opportunities for our brand.
- Revenue Growth and Strategy Creation : Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve assigned quotas and revenue targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Set up appointments with key buyers and store management, ensuring a productive and impactful meeting environment. Incorporate financial plans, margins, and sales targets into your presentations.
- Order Management Expertise: Collaborate with buyers using customized order worksheets tailored to each store's unique requirements.
- Logistics Liaison: Work with the shipping team to manage shipping extensions and early shipment requests, guaranteeing timely delivery to customers.
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively seek out new accounts, reach out to business partners and leverage industry connections to expand our customer base.
- Data-Driven Sales Strategy: Create compelling presentations that showcase sales data, product samples, marketing data, shipping information, invoicing data, customer selling data, and insights into team processes.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data (projections, invoiced orders, open orders, inventory levels, year-over-year trends) to identify areas for improvement and strategic opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and management of inventory, product listings, and product descriptions for our website.
- Customer Relationship Cultivation: Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and buyers through regular meetings, phone calls, follow-ups, recaps, and seamless sample shipments.
- Market Intelligence Specialist: Continuously analyze retail and wholesale business trends, assess price points, and monitor competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
Qualifications And Education RequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in sales within the apparel industry
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization.
Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and trade shows.
$100,000 - $120,000 plus bonus
